Nearly 40 years working with software and real-world systems

I started programming almost forty years ago, when personal computers were very different from what we use today — before Windows became the standard and long before the web existed. Over the decades I’ve worked across many environments, from desktop software to web and mobile applications.

More recently my work has focused on e-commerce and omnichannel systems, helping businesses connect modern platforms with older software that still runs important parts of their operations. In many companies the real challenge is not building a new system, but making different systems talk to each other reliably.

Because I have worked across different technologies and operating systems — Windows, macOS, Linux and embedded devices — I’m comfortable stepping into complex or unfamiliar environments. The goal is not to showcase technology, but to solve practical problems: automate repetitive work, connect systems that were never designed to integrate, and build tools that make everyday operations simpler.

The advantage for you is simple: whatever systems your business already relies on — old or new, simple or complex — I can usually work directly with them. Instead of forcing you to replace tools that already work, the focus is on connecting, automating, and extending what you have so that everything runs more smoothly and with less manual work.
